- It allows students to take a positive pro-active role in the running of the Center.
- It provides training and experience in leadership. This is of great value to each student and their future employer.
All of the leadership programs at Wolf Creek are part of the "Wolf Pack." Outstanding center norms and a friendly family atmosphere is what Wolf Creek is known for.
Wolf Pack Leadership subgroups include:
- Student Government Executive Board - Responsible for maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of leadership subgroups. They will assist in recruitment, interviewing, monitoring, disciplining of leadership groups.
- Student Government Association - Includes the extended membership of all student government representatives. Responsible for managing funds, coordinating activities, and meeting with center management to work on student issues and suggestions.
- Peer Counseling Group -
- To make incoming students feel comfortable, safe, and to provide direction and assistance during their first week on center.
- To provide a non-staff source of caring and advice to students that have issues of a personal nature they want to discuss.
- Mediation/Harassment Prevention Team - To act as mediators between students
and leaders when problems arise.
- Student Leadership Team - Help provide a safe environment for all students. They will serve as a support group for each other, sharing their skills and knowledge with each other, and assisting each other with managing their responsibilities. Membership of this group consists of lodge and bay leaders.
- Recreation Leadership Team - Supervise students in the gym, leading recreation activities, enforcing gym rules, checking out equipment to students.
